Geisha

This story has nothing to do with Geishas but it's cute and I wanted to share it with you.

The neighbor's pet hens got loose and I bumped into one on the street coming back from the playground with my kid. I started talking to her like a freaking lunatic and asked her if she mind me picking her up because I didn't want her to get run over by a car. She was so cute and tame, I picked her up and carried her back to her home. When there, another one came out of the bushes straight towards me as if she wanted to be put back in, too, so I talked to her as well, of course, and returned her to the fenced in makeshift henhouse they were staying at.

The hens are not this neighbor's but she’s babysitting them for her son who went on vacation. The reason I know that is because the other night another neighbor brought 3 hens to his next door neighbor thinking they were hers but she counted them and they weren’t. Then they proceeded to come to our place to check if they’re ours since we also have hens and they weren’t. That’s when my mom remembered that this neighbor must be babysitting her son’s pet hens.

Randomness:
  • I have plenty of acrylic pouring videos but I thought I'd sneak in some geishas
  • I'm learning Tarot reading for real this time. I've done it before but it didn't feel quite right so I stopped doing it.
  • My pooch Karma has allergies and needs to be treated because her hot spots are so bad she ended up on antibiotics again. It's been two months. When will this mess end?

  1. What a sweet story. There seems to be a lot of hens in your neighbourhood! My neighbours have two in their garden and I always say hi to them when I walk by, it's so sweet how they always come running to the fence. Your geishas are lovely! I've got a whole pile of tarot cards and books, but never seem to find the time to really get into it all. It's fascinating though.

  6. Cute story! :) It's good the hens have you to look after them.

You might want to change your dog's food..it's most likely food allergies causing the problem. My dog went through the same thing, and I ended up having to feed her hamburger, rice, and vegetables because her system couldn't handle dog food. I also have huge flareups of eczema if I eat certain food.
