Elephants

Last week, I held on to doorframe (on the side where the hinges are) while putting on my shoes and the kid decided to close the door with my fingers in them. I can’t remember the last time I hurt my fingers in this way. It was so painful I felt sick.

My middle finger and ring finger are injured the most, pinky hurts but doesn’t have any visible injuries. I just hope my fingernails don’t fall off. I hear that can happen but I’ve never experienced it myself even though my fingers got caught in doors many times when I was a kid.

A couple of days later I stubbed my little toe while chasing my kid around the kitchen. These injuries remind me of my childhood and it feels weird that they're happening to me now.

P.S. I opened a SHOP here on my blog. I'm selling some of my "big hair ladies" paintings. Go and check them out! :)

  7. I am sorry to hear about your injuries! Oye! If you don't know about arnica gel or cream you might want to get a tube to keep on hand for any knock that happens. Unless you are bleeding, not good for that. But it works SO well! It is homeopathic.

    Your elephants are cute.
Wishing you the best with your shop.
    And healing!
