Gnomes moley

This is January's moley journal for Ibus and her theme on fantasy. I made these gnomes as she likes woodsy scenes more than other. I skipped showing you the December one as it's a particular theme that I'll show in later months.

Randomness:
  1. my pooch Karma has an ear infection and I'm being a bad owner and keep forgetting to give her medicine
  2. our car died again. Just before I had to go to my yoga class. So, no yoga for me this week.
  3. the neighbors' kids came over the other day and my kid had a blast playing with them. They are older, 8 and 10, but they played so nicely with him.
  4. my mom made dairy-free cake for my kid's birthday. Wanna guess what the filling was made out of? Avocados and chocolate. You'd never guessed it. It was delicious.
  5. I'm getting a cover up for my tattoo. I already scheduled the appointment but it's in 4 months. I don't regret my tattoo, it's just that I feel it represents something different now than it did back when I got it and I don't want to be associated with that group.
  6. I e-mailed 11 tattoo artists about the cover up and the design I want for it and half of them said it cannot be done with the design I have in mind and the other half said no problem. What's the catch here? They're all well established artists and most of them pick up awards in tattoo conventions, so I don't understand how two artists of the same caliber give me different answers.

Linking to Paint Party Friday.

  4. darling gnomes Natasha. I have heard of using avocado to replace gluten and non-vegan products but never tried it. Wow-4 months seems like such a long wait to change your tattoo.
    Happy PPF!

  5. Hello Natasha May, your gnomes are full of cuteness!
It's lovely when older children are kind to younger ones. Our sweet granddaughters are like that to a young neighbouring girl and she looks up to them so much.
How about avocado being used like that! Wow, always great to know about a new taste combo.
Happy tattoo removal! Cheers now :D)

  8. Adorable gnomes. I am crazy for anything avocado especially the oil which we use on popcorn..Unbelievably good! Tattoo artists are just like any other artist some are better at one type of art than another! Doesn't mean they are excellent at coverups. Ask to see some of their coverups before you commit!! All the best with it!
