Crescent Moon pendant with handmade wire wrapped Amethyst Crystal

Remember way back in February when I talked about Tarot journaling? It didn't go as planned because it's very tiring to research and write down the whole thing. But I did do a few cards, so here is the High Priestess.

What I do now instead to learn the cards is the daily card and I do one-card readings for free. I do them on my tarot blog.
And I made a Crescent Moon pendant with handmade wire wrapped Amethyst Crystal available in my Etsy store.

a Fox and a Wolf and a new pendant

This is the latest Round Robin set that I participated in. The fox was drawn by ScribbledMissives, wolfie is by me and the background from kentuckydakota. Look how freaking awesome it came out?!

I made another pendant similar to last week's with the dragonfly charm. Last week's auction was amazing and we raised a lot of money. Thanks to everyone who participated. :)

Handmade “Rainbow Sea Sediment Jasper & Pyrite” wire wrapped pendant with Dragonfly charm on a black braid necklace cord with lobster clasp. Available in my Etsy shop.

#BringBackOurGirls

Jessica Sporn is organizing this really awesome A Call For Art event in support of 300 Nigerian schoolgirls that were kidnapped on April 14th.

Girls ages between 16 and 18 were abducted from their school by the radical group that believes that girls shouldn't have an education and are rumored to be sold into slavery. A month after and there is still no sign of them.

Today we're joining in to bring awareness to this tragedy and to raise money with auctioned art for the girlrising.com , a global campaign for girls' education.

Help these girls by using #BringBackOurGirls when twitting, FB-ing or any other way raising the awareness of this tragic event. Go to A Call For Art if you want to auction and buy any of the art available.

For the auction I donated my handmade Rainbow Sea Sediment Jasper and Pyrite wire wrapped pendant (size approx. 1.5" or 4 cm) on a silk ribbon cord necklace (approx. 18" or 46 cm length) with lobster clasp (extension chain 1.5" or 4 cm).

Random stuff:
  • It's so weird how you think you know a foreign language until you're asked to translate. You understand it in your head but you just can't find the right word. Or any word for that matter.
  • I tried to make a new pendant yesterday and failed three times. I think the wire is too soft. I ran out of the thicker one.
  • I have yoga class twice a week and it's ridiculous how such basic and easy stretching exercises make you feel old. I mean, I used to do this stuff when I was younger and now it feels like my spine is about to collapse.
  • I haven't read a book novel since February. I have read a couple of non-fiction books while on train to and from Prague.
  • I was stopped by this woman in a parking lot a couple of weeks ago to answers some questions for a traveling agency survey and I got a call from them yesterday that I won a free vacation for a week. How awesome is that?! Well, the boarding is free, I'll have to organize and pay for my own transport and food. I'll get more details when I meet up with their traveling agent. I hope it's not a scam. :)
  • I was supposed to get mail from U.S. and the person sending it got it back after 3 weeks saying it was missent to Kenya. How the f*ck do you mistake Slovenia for Kenya? It's not even on the same continent. And why didn't they just send it to me instead of returning it to her?

Frida and Red Tiger's Eye pendant

Frida is timeless so she shows up on my ATCs from time to time. :) I used copics on this one that's why the color is more vibrant on her face.

Here's another pendant I made. I used red Tiger's eye cabochon gemstone. It's really awesome in real life as it changes red-brown colors when you turn it in light.
