Gumball tree & Self-portrait

I think my whimsical self-portrait is pretty good but my hubby thinks it doesn't look anything like me. :)

And then I did a blind drawing self-portrait. :) Yes, you actually have to draw the face blindfolded but then you can look when you color it in. I don't know why I keep drawing purple sweaters. I don't own a purple one. I think I have one or two purple T-shirts though. But I love color purple.

  4. Your blind portrait is fab. What a brave soul. I love your gumball tree and self-portrait. I get the impression that you have a marvellous sense of humour and find it easy to laugh at yourself - an admirable quality.

  5. Brilliant faces and I can only look on in wonder.
I can imagine what my face would look like if I tried to draw it whilst looking but to do it blindfolded then that would be scary.
It probably would have to come with a warning!
Thanks for sharing... I really enjoyed seeing your work
    Happy PPF to you

I think i will do one too, it's been a long time since I don't draw with closed eyes, and it is a great exercise!

  10. Hahahaa...I shall have to try this--how on earth did you do that second one without looking at the paper?! By the way, I love the gumball tree. WONDERFUL!

  11. I love your cute little girl look (you were so cute) but you've grown into a beauty. Clever of you to do 2 'selfie' portraits. Both are excellent. Blessings, Janet PPF
