Jessica Sporn's Embrace the Rain Stencil Blog Hop

Stencil Girl released a line of stencils designed by Jessica Sporn. Continuing once or twice a month through June 2013, Jessica asked me and a bunch of other artists to take her stencils on a "test drive."

We'll show you how we used her stencils, and you're invited to play along too. Look for my post on 20th June 2013 for another fun stencil blog hop and you can check the 6 Point Starry Night, Fun Borders stencil and Retro Flowers & Circles stencil test drive I did in past couple of months as well. Visit Jessica's blog for all the details and to grab a button for your blog.
I used the stencil for my third Chakra that we're covering at ChakrART FREE online Workshop which is hosted by the lovely Simona from Timeless Rituals.

As with the other Chakras I journaled first and I had a great quote to put on top but I didn't memorize it and I can't read it anymore as I painted over it. So I just used the quote on the stencil instead. :)

Here are a couple of past projects using this same stencil.
Go hop by the other artists blogs who are test driving this stencil today and check out what they're doing with it. :)

  4. I think the rain piece with the clever umbrella might be my fave - but I do think using one stencil two ways is very neat. xoDonna

  15. Love what you are doing with the stencils, and such truth in that message. You also remind me to get back to that course myself!

  16. Love the stroll in the rain under the spotted umbrella. We've been so dry here for the last few years there really hasn't much need for an umbrella.
