I'm just as strange as you

“I used to think I was the strangest person in the world but then I thought there are so many people in the world, there must be someone just like me who feels bizarre and flawed in the same ways I do. I would imagine her, and imagine that she must be out there thinking of me too. Well, I hope that if you are out there and read this and know that, yes, it's true I'm here, and I'm just as strange as you.”
― Frida Kahlo

I'm almost at the end of my 30 days challenge. I have two more to go. Can you tell I'm running out of ideas what to paint? :) It was tough and challenging. I did not stick to it every day but I did not skip more than one day and I made up for it the next day with making two videos.

You can find all the videos from the 30 days on my YouTube channel so go on and subscribe if you don't want to miss any future videos. All of the paintings are on my FB page.

I made a separate folder where all the Big Hair Ladies are gathered and you can e-mail me if you want to purchase any of them and I'll send you a PayPal invoice. They are $30 including p&p. They won't be there for long as I intend to exhibit them and I'll take them off the market some time prior to that. Afterwards whatever is not sold at the show will go in my Etsy shop and the price will go up including the shipping fees.

Oh, did I tell you about the 40% discount in my  Etsy shop? It's good until my birthday Sunday the 17th. Just enter coupon code 40PERCENTOFF at checkout.

My next challenge is definitely a digital one. I'm taking a workshop from Shwe Khit as well to get me started. Just watching her videos makes so much sense. I really recommend her workshop if you want to learn about Photoshop.

Linking to Paint Party Friday.

P.S. You still have time to enter the giveaway. It is for a FREE spot on my March 2013 Cotton Candy Girls On-line Workshop. Go check it out!

  6. Love this! And I love that quote. Another one I really like, which Frida's reminds me of, is "I live in my own little world. It's ok, they like me here!" This weekend I am going to have a Nat Video marathon!

  21. Don't you just love Frida! I'm hooked. This year, for the first time since her death 58 years ago, they are opening her closet and exhibiting her clothing at her home/museum in Mexico City. All the challenges you do are amazing - I should get more involved, but somehow I end up in front of my easel and that's the end of it. Have a great day. xoDonna
