Baseball Nut Girl

Summer of Color 's ice cream flavor for this week is Baseball Nut. Say WHAT?? Yeah, if it wasn't for the ice cream photo, I'd have no idea what colors to use. :)) It's Vanilla and Black Raspberry and some nuts.

This one is inspired by Mystele's lesson in Life Book class.  Ok, random stuff:
  • I'm reading Fifty Shades of Grey. Have you read it? :)
  • Soccer bores me.
  • I don't get the mail. How come one parcel can arrive over the ocean in 3 days and the other is in its 3rd week of traveling? And I mailed it to the same freaking country.
  • I'm taking a class on Chakras and meditation. I'm really enjoying it. And I'm really intrigued by Theta Healing and hopefully I'll get to go to one of the seminars real soon. :)
  • Don't forget to check out my Sponsorships.
  • What are you up to?

  1. I love this face! Not sure what it is that draws me to it so much--the asymmetry? the green eyes looking up?--but it's wonderful!

  6. She's bending her head down to a child, the beholder has the perspective of a child... Although she's bending down her head at the moment she's not looking at me. She' thinking about something...
I love the colors and your description of them! ♥
At the moment I'm reading "print & pattern 2" and "CFSL.NET, café salé, artbook 05". I love the way these books inspire me...

  13. Wow! she is quite attractive !

  14. I love her - her full lips are awesome!! I had no clue what flavour baseball nuts was either! I've just finished 50 shades of grey and started 50 shades darker. Apart from being very raunchy I'm not sure I'm convinced by Anastasia - who gets to 21 and is still that naive and why does she keep questioning things when he told her from the start what he was about? Other than that, it's an easy throw away read and I wanted to read it before they make the movie which apparently they will be doing!

  17. I had trouble with getting those colors right, too. But of course, I love how you chose to display the colors.

As for the randomness, I have never even heard of that book, and I have trouble getting mail that comes from across town, much less across a pond or two.

  21. She's beautiful! Love your subtle colors around her face ! No help on the mail thing- I have found it to be quite unpredictable. When I have mailed postcards home from Europe some have taken a week and others 2 months.

  26. Such a strong quirky face..... I like her!

I loved Mysteles Life Book Lessons.

50 shades of grey..... nope.... I am not giving into the hype! I read the reviews (quite a lot of detail there!) and believe the majority when they say it is not worth reading!!!!!!

  37. This prompt has been a little more difficult for me, too...but, I love what you created!! She looks like she is a fun spirit with a happy heart! I loved Mystele's lesson...she can definitely make you see all sorts of fun things in art!

  38. She is stunning. :) When I first heard the name of the ice cream I was so intrigued by the colours, so not what I was expecting. I enjoy learning about the chakras as well. I am trying to meditate every day. Trying! I have Fifty shades of gray on reserve at the library. When I reserved it I was 132nd in the queue...goodness knows where I am now, hopefully near the front.
