Goddess #4

I'm cheating on the 13 Goddesses today. :) I've done so many Greek Goddesses that I didn't feel like drawing another. So, here is a page from the Life Book class that I haven't shown yet.

Hestia is the virgin goddess of the hearth, architecture and of the right ordering of domesticity and the family. Because she took an oath to never marry, she had averted the possibility of war between the rival suitors.

Zeus was so delighted with Hestia's decision that he handed her the keys to the family home (Mount Olympus) and offered her the position of a manager. With it came the responsibility of running this vast estate while the rest of the gods and goddesses wandered about in the larger world having all sorts of adventures.

Registration to my Cotton Candy Girls On-line Workshop is now open. Click on the banner to take you there. :)
