I don't know what to talk about today. Let's see . . . I won Kirstin McCulloch’s giveaway. It’s your own fault for not entering. :) She's doing it every month so go follow her so you don't miss it. And I've been calling her Kristin. So embarrassing. My mind needs a minute to distinguish between Kristin, Kristen and Kirstin. :)
Strathmore is having free workshops again. If you want to join go here. Traci is up first but I haven't really done anything yet. I guess I'm not in a doodling kind of mood just yet. :)
Now I'm off to see what everyone at Paint Party Friday is doing. They probably have more interesting stuff to tell than me. :)

Fantastic transformations :D XXX
ReplyDeletethese are so cute. i'm not a fan ofpokemon or manga art in general so i've no idea who they're based on but you've given them youe own wonderful style as always!

Very cool--my son collected pokemon cards--they were the thing to collect 15 years ago or so--he even had the hardest one to find--I think he still has the collection.....well anyway I like your pokemon renditions.
ReplyDelete:)
Cute little Poke-whatsits. I really like they way you take these other styles and make them so recognizably your own.
ReplyDeleteI have to say, as cute as these are......I'm sooooo glad I don't know the characters!
ReplyDeleteMy daughter hasn't yet discovered the word of Saturday morning cartoons...or regular TV programming (we don't get TV reception, just dvds for us)...so, hopefully I can avoid the toy hype that goes along with it just a bit longer :)
I'm signed up for Strathmre, too....but, I'm not quite ready to dive in either...
Wouldn't it be spooky if we had the urge to start on the same day?!
they are adorable ~ love them ~ namaste, carol, (Share the Creative Journey) Happy PPF ^_^

ReplyDeleteI would say they're Pikachu, Jigglypuff and... Kadabra? If you're looking for the term of these type of character twists, it's called gijinka. ^-^
They're absolutely lovely, and as a Nintendo fan, I'm very pleased to see work like this! XD

ReplyDeleteCute little pokemon pixies! I have no idea who they are (no pokemon lovers in our house), but they're adorable. I've enjoyed Traci's series even though her style is so different from mine - maybe that's why.....it pulls me out of my comfort zone! Thanks for the visit.

oh I LOVE pokemon! Brings back some fun memories when my girls were younger. These are adorable. "pika pika!"
ReplyDeleteYour human pokemons are so cute!! Is one of them picachoo? I missed the whole pokemon craze!
ReplyDeleteDon't worry about the mix up - i didn't even notice cause it happens all the time - when you have one of 'those' names I think you just roll with it!
Cheers
Kirst x
Wow! These are so much fun!!! :) There was a children's book series several years back called Animorphs. Human children who morphed into animals - or vice versa. You did a great job!
ReplyDeleteLOVE you cutie Pokemon girls. Adorable! Congrats on winning the giveaway too. It's always fun getting little treats in the mail. Have a great week!
