I'm giving away my FIRST book page girl so if you want a chance to win her, you'll need to play along with us over at The Butterfly Effect. :)
Today I'm showing you Lydia. She is a sweet girl, straight A student but she's been feeling a little rebellious lately.
She skipped school on Friday with her best friend Pippa and they went to this little cozy bar where artists hang out. Lydia struck a conversation with this cute, curly haired painter which just so happened was looking for nude models to pose for him.
Lydia was being a little shy but he finally sweet talked her into modeling for him on Saturday. Pippa said yes straight away.
Well, it's Sunday today and I haven't talked to her yet, so I don't know what went on yesterday but I do know she missed her curfew and she got in trouble with her Dad. I just hope it was worth it, that's all I'm saying. :))
Linking to the Artists in Blogland as well.

Looks like a nice girl! Valerie
ReplyDeleteI think she's oke ;-) Great drawing, and I loved your naked gnome from the previous blogpost too, a lot!

I love your stories and images... they never fail to make me smile... hope Lydia didn't get into too much trouble when she got home... or if she did I sure hope it was worth it... maybe she has been hanging out with the naked gnome as well... bad girl Lydia!!!
ReplyDeleteOh so sweet and oh so innocent....well, maybe not anymore ;P
ReplyDeleteShe sure is a pretty girl, though...no wonder he wanted her to pose for him!
ha ha .. you make me laugh! Great piece - she looks sassy doesn't she. More trouble ahead I'm sure. xxDonna
ReplyDeleteI love the painting...but that's a scary little story (because I have 3 daughters!) LOL...I hope the ending is that she came to her senses and decided to wait about posing for any artist until she was older!! Heehee...I can get on board with that ending!
ReplyDeleteThanks for coming to my blog and leaving a comment. Good luck in the giveaway! xoxo

ReplyDeletewhy am i doing this again? i'm coming here and NOT commenting. then i come back and am like... ooohhh. i lurked.
ReplyDeletei love the book page. i like that you are making these.
i always admire the faces that you make.
i REALLY like that you are giving them a life, a story.
yes my daughter said wtf.
the letters. not the words.
but she can say the words.
i gave my children a 'swearing license' 6 years ago.
it was my feeble attempt to take the negative power out of words that society deems taboo.
:))
xxa
Lots of character in this face - and love it on a book page!
ReplyDeleteOh Lydia you little scamp! Will she ever be allowed out again to be the artist muse?
ReplyDeleteČudovita je, a v živo še veliko lepša :-)
