Bird house

You know what?! I'm not good with words so I'm not even gonna try to put them on my paintings. I almost ruined another painting of mine because of it. I said almost. :) I think I should practice in my journal for about a year or so first. :))

This one is becoming my favorite. I didn't even like her face that much when I sketched it but I glued her down on canvas anyway cause I liked the bird and the bird house.

So not to keep you guessing. The background is spray painted again, the dress is collaged She Art style and her face drawn Willowing style except for the chin and the lips. :) That's mine. :) So, there you have it!

  3. So wonderful how you take everything that you've been learning and creating your own style--your art is really evolving.

  8. Beautiful work! Love the text on her face, as if she's telling us watchers a story or trying to hide it from us... "It's written all over your face" ;)

  13. Love the little bits of text here and there. She is so pretty and I love the little bird on her head. Also I like how you slanted the background instead of making it straight across. Thanks for visiting my blog and happy PPF.

  14. Hello,
I struggle with words on my art as well! Usually I paint over them, because it simply does not work for me. But I like them on her face, I like the subtly of them. Makes me lean in to look more closely. I love the bird on her head and her skirt is adorable!
