I'm really pleased with the prints my new printer (Canon MG 5150) is making. I love the colors and glossy paper that I use is amazing.

I'm starting with this one and then I'll be adding new prints as I get to test them with my printer. Sadly I found out that my printer does not like the Heart Penny from my OWOH giveaway cause it adds red to her and she looks awful. I'll have to work on that one. If anyone has a clue why there is too much red color in the green, please share it with me. I'm clueless.

ReplyDeleteCongrats on making the print leap! I hope it goes really well for you. :) I bought a new printer for exactly that purpose. I can't get it to make a decent print, so I still have to get them done somewhere. It's especially annoying, because I did a lot of research and made a final decision after seeing a print in the shop that was supposedly done on the same printer. Oh well! By the way, are you going to do bookmarks, cards, etc too?

ReplyDeleteČestitke k novemu podvigu. Ne spoznam se sicer toliko na printe ampak precej se mi dozdeva da boš morala fotografijo barvno obdelati in prilagoditi tiskalniku. Seveda so tudi resolucije barv na ekranu na katerem gledaš fotografijo preden jo natisneš pomembne.

Kaj pa kalibracija skenerja in printerja pa monitorja? Baje se da v kakem foto studiu sposodit kvalitetno opremo, da potem teh težav nimaš več.
ReplyDeleteSicer pa čestitke za printer in prodajo printov. Naj ti barve zdržijo čim dalj :) Oz. vsaj toliko, da zaslužiš s printi za nove :)
Sorry, no help with the printer, but so pleased for you on your shop!! I took the plunge recently too, but had them done by a professinal printer. My printer must be like yours - just doesn't quite get the colours right!

ReplyDeleteGood for you! I find it is so much easier to control the quality of your work when you know how it should look. My favorite paper though, is a matte paper. I've tried semi glossy, and it doesn't work with my colors.
