Penny with pigtails

I was very creative this weekend. It was raining and it was cold so I had nothing else to do but paint. :) So I finished the blue canvas and totally changed the color of the first "seizure like" canvas and started 3 new.

Her hair is a bit different then usual. I used 4 different watercolor pencils and watered down brown acrylic paint. I think it gives them a bit more texture and I like it like this. :) Don't you just love her pigtails? :)

(available on Etsy)

Wanna see my creative chaos? :) This is how my kitchen looks like most of the time. We don't eat here. :) Those boxes on chairs store my painting materials. I need help I know. :) But don't worry. I have a studio planned at my new place. I can't wait to finally move. It will take some time though but hopefully this year.

  5. I love seeing Penny with her different attitudes and looks. And I love your workspace. That's the way it SHOULD look--I felt like I was looking through a magazine this weekend on these blogs--if you know what I mean ;)

  11. So glad to find you along this blog hop ~~ another fellow "Suzi Girl!" I love Penny! Her long neck is what drew me in, then I discovered the cuteness of her sassy ponytails and the gorgeous background ~~ triple yummy! Penny inspires me to paint another girl...real soon. However, my new discovery of art journaling has me distracted currently, hehehe. Looking forward to following you, and staying in touch ~~ Happy Creating!

  19. Hi Natasha, I love this painting, she is beautiful! Oh! my space turns into chaos too when working, I just moved so I'm not quite settled in yet but I love my new place, so I know what you mean about it taking some time...but it is worth it in the end. Sorry it's been a while since my last visit.
