I bought punchanella (sequin waste) some time ago and it took nearly a month to get here from the States. But I have it now and I had some fun with it. :) My favorite so far is the largest one.

The face

Here she is! :) I got a question on previous post so here is the answer. I sketched the outline of the face following the background and she turned out looking to the side. I painted the shape with white acrylic paint and thought I'll sketch the face on top of it. But I ended up drawing the face on paper first and then gluing it on top. I had to shade again because matte medium that I used to glue her down smudged and faded the lines.

Not too happy with the background but I'm showing it to you anyway. :) I'm kindda stuck at this point. I'm thinking of leaving it this way and call it a lesson learned. :) I don't know, maybe I'll get inspired later on.

Masking and spray paint

I bought some Tim Holtz's masks just to do this Supernova lesson. :) I used the masks that's why the paint is all over, but I like it. Stencils give a much bigger effect though. The spray paint didn't cover the background entirely and you can see some of it underneath. Do you see the drips? Love it!
